Reliable Properties manages about 150 rental units and seven self-storage locations in the Capital District and surrounding counties. We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who works independently to resolve work orders like:
Light plumbing (leaky faucets, clogged drains, toilets, etc.)
Light electrical (outlets, switches, light fixtures, etc.)
General light repairs, painting, light carpentry
Outdoor (gutter cleaning, mowing, pressure washing, etc.)
Regular facility maintenance tasks (garbage, sweeping, etc.)
Assisting rental management team as needed
Assess and provide recommendations for fixes/upgrades
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in maintenance or construction
Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience a plus (Skid Steer, excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, etc)
Able to pass DOT physical
On time, efficient, honest and quality-oriented
Good communication skills, smartphone savvy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Able to work with minimal supervision
Own a basic set of hand and electric tools
Driver license, valid insurance, reliable vehicle, clean record
Team oriented, works well with others, flexible approac
COMPENSATION
Starting $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
